Stew was known for his perennial enthusiasm and encouragement toward others.\u00a0In 2003, he received a \u201cPoint of Light\u201d award from President George\u00a0Bush for his work to educate the public about the problem of child sexual abuse.<\/p>\n<p>He formed a mentor-ship with many who recognized his genius in advertising, playfulness in painting, and his signature zest for life. He is survived by Sylvia, his wife of 55 years of marriage, his four children and their spouses, his siblings, nine grandchildren and countless friends.
