Norma Beck sat back and watched her classmates on stage while the director talked to the actors about trusting the script and sensing energy.
“You have to be a detective,” Joseph Fuqua told the class. “You have to find out who your character is.”
Beck, 79, a resident of Ventura and a practicing psychologist, has been working with Fuqua for 10 years, taking his acting classes at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura.
