WÃV’s First Mutt Mingle Great Success!

Satchel & Owen (two resident pugs) hosted a mutt-mingle for their canine neighbors on Wednesday, April 4th from 5:30pm-8:00pm in the Theater Gallery.  The  pups ran off leash and mixed-n-mingled.

Well-behaved pooches and humans (with or without dogs) arrived in droves. Lite refreshments for humans and canines were provided, as well as door prizes. This was a great opportunity to kick back, get to know your neighbors and spend some quality time with the pups.

WAV Artists Featured in LA Times

The studios of WAV Artists Larissa Strauss, Colin Gray and Anna Karakalos are featured in Los Angeles Times Home section December 30, 2011.  Larissa Strauss was contacted by a LA Times freelance writer to be in an article designed to report how the artists of the WAV decorated their apartments. Larissa created a list of artists she believed fit the theme of the proposed article. He has continued that work since taking office in the State Assembly in December 2010.
